I really enjoyed Brooklyn. My good friend got me tickets because she knows how much I love musicals and because she thinks I may be a good propect for a role on this show. I think the cast is phenomenal and they totally carried the entire score! The story line grows on you and I love how simple they kept everything.
I'm a professional singer and I know how hard it can be to get a whole set of people who can Saaaanngg!!
Wooh! I was really impressed by everyone's range and interpretation of the songs.
The whole audience was immersed in the story after just 5 minutes, and it only got better and better as the story unfolded.
I hope this show stays around for a long time. It's nice to hear some great, soulful singing back on Broadway! Who knows, maybe you'll see me up there singing "Once Upon A Time" one day soon!!
